The Rymill House Foundation invites renowned co-founder of the Louis Vuitton Architecture Department and designer for icon brands Tiffany & Co, Tag Heuer, Longchamp and BMW, Eric Carlson – Carbondale, Paris as key note speaker to address the question, ‘What would make Adelaide exceptional?'.
As part of the Foundation’s ‘Expect the Exceptional’ public lecture series on April 15, Carlson will share his design philosophy distinguishing the factors that give luxury brands global appeal and how to create inspirational places and spaces for the City of Adelaide.
Acclaimed designs by Carlson include the Louis Vuitton Buildings on the Champs Élysées in Paris and in Roppongi, Tokyo, the 360° Watch Museum in Switzerland (Tag Heuer), the Headquarters for Escada in Munich and the BMW showroom on avenue George V in Paris. Carlson regularly participates as lecturer and guest critic at Harvard University and has received numerous International awards and honours such as the 'Talent de la Rareté', 'The Most Beautiful Construction in Metal' and 'The Seoul Metropolitan Government' award.
Carlson's visit to Adelaide opens the door for the creation of an 'Exceptional Adelaide'.
